S3 Interior Latex Primer & Sealer is a premium waterborne primer-sealer designed for professional painters. It provides exceptional resistance to efflorescence and alkali on properly cured tilt-up concrete, poured-in-place concrete, stucco, and block.

As an excellent base coat for latex paints, it's widely used in residential, commercial, institutional and industrial applications. The advanced acrylic emulsion formula ensures superior performance while maintaining environmental safety standards with low VOC content.

Surface Preparation

General Requirements:

Surfaces must be clean, dry, free of dirt, dust, grease, oil, soap, wax, scaling paint, water-soluble materials & mildew

Paint Removal:

Remove peeling/scaling paint, sand to feather edges; dull glossy areas

Drywall:

Remove sanding dust; spot prime before/after filling nail holes/cracks

New Plaster/Masonry:

Cure for 30 days (pH ≤10, hard & slightly sheen); do not sand

⚠️ Warning: Risk of lead dust when sanding old paint - wear respirator, clean with HEPA vacuum & wet mop

Application Method

Preparation:

Do not thin; stir thoroughly before & during application

Tools:

3/8-1/2" nap roller, nylon/polyester brush, pad applicator or airless sprayer (.015 tip)

Coverage:

350-400 sq. ft. (33-37 m²) per gallon

Temperature:

Apply at air & surface temperature: 50-90°F (10-32°C)
